One man is dead, seven injured, after a mass shooting in Wichita's Old Town early Tuesday. Around 12:30 a.m. first responders were called to a night club in the 300 block of North Mosley. Witnesses say a man was kicked out of that club, returned later and began shooting.
Police say a 30-year-old man is dead. Five people are hospitalized with serious injuries and two others have minor injuries. Police are looking for the suspect, described as a black male in this 20s about 5'9" inches tall.
Wichita Police Capt. Wendell Nicholson spoke at the scene.
"We're still gathering video, processing the scene down here, and interviewing multiple witnesses who were in and around the club when this happened."
