A man suffered critical injuries after being shot in east Wichita early Sunday morning.
It happened around 1:15 a.m., in the 1500 block of N. Pennsylvania. Wichita Police located the victim on N. Kansas, two blocks from where the shooting took place.
Police say he was at a small gathering in a field between the two locations when a disturbance broke out. He was shot multiple times in the torso.
The man is expected to survive. No arrests have been made in the case.
