The Sedgwick County Health Department is offering Pfizer COVID booster shots at the Downtown Wichita former library building. Not everyone is eligible, and you must register at the county's web site. County Commission Chair Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News the county also has a new testing site at the former Harry Street Mall. He says demand for testing has risen dramatically since the start of school.
Meitzner also says local officials are growing concerned about mental health, drug, and homeless issues ... as they impact Wichita businesses.
Meitzner commented during his weekly chat with Steve and Ted in the Morning on KNSS.
