An arrest has been made in connection to a shooting that took place in Old Town on October 29.
Wichita Police said in a news release on Tuesday that a Wichita man, 21 was taken into custody.
At around 11:25 a.m. Tuesday morning, officers located the suspect and attempted to make a traffic stop. The suspect refused, and a traffic pursuit began. It ended when the suspect colliding with another vehicle on the road.
The suspect fled on foot but was taken into custody by WPD Officers. The other driver involved in the crash received minor injuries and did not need immediate medical attention.
The KHP is investigating the circumstances surrounding the vehicle collision, to ensure transparency.
This case will be presented to the District Attorney's office.
