Police have made an arrest in a shooting in southeast Wichita. It happened just before 10:00p.m. Thursday night in the 2100 hundred block of south Dellrose, near Mt. Vernon and Oliver.

Officers found a woman, 39, who was hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds, in serious, but non-life-threatening condition.
The investigation revealed the woman was involved in a disturbance with her boyfriend, Jeremy Fisher, 47, when he fired multiple shots striking the woman.
Fisher fled the scene, but was located by officers a short time later in Haysville. He was taken into custody following a brief stand-off with law enforcement.
The investigation is ongoing and will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office.
