A second suspect has been arrested in a fatal shooting that took place last Tuesday.
Wichita Police say a 27-year-old suspect was taken into custody around 2 a.m. Saturday, in the 1300 block of S. Santa Fe. A 37-year-old suspect was arrested two days earlier.
The pair were wanted in the fatal shooting of 35-year-old LaDonte Ostrader in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 16. Police found the victim in the 900 block of S. Market Street with a gunshot wound to his lower extremities. He was transported to a local hospital but died of his injuries.
Both cases will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's Office this week.
