One person was killed after a shooting in north Wichita Tuesday. According to Wichita Police it happened over the noon hour Tuesday in the 14-hundred block of north Minnesota, near 13th and I-135.
Police dispatched to the scene found a man with gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital where he later died. Police identified the man as 33-year-old Norman Carter III.
Officials say a person of interest was taken into custody. And the case remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 316-268-4407.
