The Wichita Police Department (WPD) is investigating a shooting that fatally injured Shawn Lahman, 44, of Wichita.
At approximately 11:20 pm, Monday night, officers were sent to the 1300 block of South Edwards for an unknown call for police. They arrived and located Lahman in the front seat of a passenger van with a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
EMS pronounce Lahman deceased on the scene.
