The Wichita Police Department is investigating the homicide of Jose Lumbreras, 51 of Wichita. It took place in the 1200 block of N. Broadway.
Monday at 12:08 a.m., officers were sent to the 1200 Block of N. Broadway. They located a man lying on the ground unresponsive.
Life-saving measures were performed on the victim until EMS arrived on the scene, but ultimately the was pronounced deceased.
The investigation revealed that the man sustained fatal gunshot wounds. Currently,
investigators are still following up on promising leads and actively working on this case. This is all the updated information at this time.
