Police say a man who allegedly attacked a person with a sword in west Wichita is in custody.
It happened just before 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of W. 2nd. The person who was attacked was reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say the attack was random, and added that the suspect who appeared in surveillance video wearing a T-Shirt that says "Friends," is not believed to have any relationship with Friends University.
