A teenager has been injured in east Wichita shooting. It happened around 1:00 p.m. Monday afternoon in the 1900 block of south Shiloh, near Mt. Vernon and Greenwich.
Officers said someone attempted to transport the boy in a private vehicle, but stopped near Harry and Rock Rd. He was transported to an area hospital by EMS with a life threatening injury.
Police continue to interview witnesses and are working to piece together what led up to the shooting.
