Members of the Wichita Police Department's Special Weapons And Tactics team, (SWAT), and the Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) team, will be conducting training exercises Wednesday in the 8,000 block of E. Douglas, near Rock Road.
According to a news release from the Wichita Police Department, you can expect to see an added police presence in the area, but it won't be a cause for alarm.
The training will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
