The Wichita Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday morning.
Wichita police continue an investigation into a weekend shooting in Old Town. It happened around 1:53 a.m. Sunday morning in the 100 block of north Mead.
The officers found a man, 25, with a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators learned that another man, 22, arrived at a hospital via a private vehicle at about the same time. That man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The man is described as an unknown black male in his 20's, wearing a red hat, white shirt, and red shorts. The suspect vehicle is described as a white in color, 2021 Mercedes GLC 300 SUV.
