The lights are back on in parts of Rose Hill after an underground cable failure caused a power outage on Saturday.
Around 90 customers were affected when the power went out around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
The afternoon heat index in Wichita reached as high as 115.
Evergy says by 8 Saturday evening, the power was back on for every customer in the area.
