The power has been turned back on at Towne West Square, after a late Evergy payment caused power to be off for most of Friday.
In June the mall averted a disconnect after the bill had gone unpaid since November. But, Friday morning the power was turned off due to an unpaid bill going back to June.
Several owners of small business in the mall, said they were frustrated by lack of communication from the mall's owners..
The larger stores in the mall with their own Evergy accounts were not impacted by the shutdown.
