Wichita's Public Works crews battled the year's first big snow storm last week. Mayor Brandon Whipple tells KNSS News he thinks the crews did "an amazing job". He says "we have incredible people working in that department" who know the moisture content of the snow and what type of salt to put on it.
Whipple says crews are ready for the next round of snowy weather, with plenty of trucks and salt to meet the need.
Whipple commented during Mondays with the Mayor ... on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
