More than 960 people attended the 49th Annual Blarney Breakfast, a benefit for Rainbows United, Inc., Friday ahead of St. Patrick’s Day Weekend. The event, held at Old Chicago East, raised a record-breaking $82,825 to benefit school-aged youth with special needs served through Rainbows’ Family Support Services program which includes Camp Woodchuck.
KNSS Radio as well as our sister stations KEYN 103.7FM and Power 93.5 provided live broadcasts from the event, as did KAKE TV.
“The community continues to rally around the event and make it a success,” said Pat Gearhart, Board Chair. “It all makes a difference for the children of Rainbows.”
