A road rage incident south of Wichita turned deadly Saturday night when one person was shot.
Just after 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Kansas Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene on the Kansas Turnpike about 3 miles south of the Haysville interchange.
The Turnpike Dispatch Center had received a call of an aggressive and erratic driver in the southbound lanes out of Wichita. When officers arrived at the scene, they found two vehicles parked on the shoulder of the road.
A trooper found a victim with a gunshot wound. The man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
KHP says two people are being questioned in the incident.
