Family and friends of a missing 26-year-old man from Saint Bonifacius, Minnesota are asking for the public's help in finding him. A search is planned for Saturday near Flying Cloud Drive in Chaska, where they last able to ping his cell phone.
Keegan Oyugi was last seen on June 12th after leaving for home from the Prior Lake-Savage area.
Oyugi's parents from Wichita, Kansas, have come to Minnesota to help search for their soon and get some answers.
"I knew that something was wrong because it was my birthday the week he disappeared and he never called me. That was day four after he disappeared, so I knew something was wrong with my son because he would never not call me on my birthday," his mother said. "So I am appealing to the parents out there. I'm appealing to the authorities, anybody and anyone who can come out and help us; we need all the help we can get."
His parents are asking Hennepin County Sheriff's deputies to join in the search for their son as well as the public.
Oyugi was last driving a red Ford Mustang with temporary Kansas plates. Oyugi was last in contact with his family on Saturday, June 12, at around 4 a.m. He was last seen in a red and white vertical striped shirt with a blue horizontal stripe across the chest.
"Please help us; we don't want to be up here; we don't want to do any of this; we just want our brother," Oyugi's brother said while holding back tears. "It's a terrible time for me and my family, so if you know something about the red Mustang, please just reach out."
