Beginning Wednesday, the Sedgwick County Commission will be opening its meetings to the public. Commission Chair Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News masks will still required in the courthouse, but in the commission meeting room, the masks can come off with social distancing. Meitzner says all of the county commissioners have now been vaccinated against COVID.
Meitzner says he expects the COVID vaccination center at Wichita's former downtown library to continue for the near future, with shots for walk-ins and by appointment, until people stop getting the vaccinations.
Meitzner commented druring his weekly chat with Steve and Ted in the Morning on KNSS.
