Several Sedgwick County divisions and departments will begin moving this month from the County Courthouse at Central and Main to the Ruffin Building at Douglas and Broadway. This move is being made to make room in the courthouse for additional courtrooms and District 18 court needs.
Here is the list of departments and when they’ll be available for business at their new home at 100 N. Broadway.
• Sedgwick County Treasurer: Suite 100 (July 18)
• Sedgwick County Register of Deeds: Suite 105 (July 25)
• Division of Finance: Suite 610 (June 13)
• Sedgwick County Clerk: Suite 620 (June 20)
• County Manager’s Office: Suite 630 (July 5)
• Strategic Communications: Suite 640 (July 5)
• County Counselor’s Office: Suite 650 (June 27)
• Sedgwick County Board of County Commissioners: Suite 660 (July 11)
These divisions and departments will complete their move by the end of July.
The county says Commission meetings will continue to take place on the third floor of the courthouse at 525 N. Main.
