A Sedgwick County paramedic was injured while responding to an emergency call in north Wichita.
It happened shortly after 8:00 p.m. Monday night in the 1500 block of N. Volutsia. The attack brought a large police presence to the area. First responders said that the paramedic's injuries were not life-threatening.
The incident remains under investigation.
