The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office has welcomed a new K-9 deputy. The department announced Friday that Detention K-9, "Menace" and his handler, Deputy Jesse Warren, will soon attend K-9 school, where "Menace" will be trained in drug detection.

"Menace" is replacing Police Service Dog "Turbo," who died after battling cancer last March.

There are currently five K-9's employed by the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office.  Four on patrol and "Menace," who will become the new detention K-9.
