A crash on the Kansas Turnpike between a semi and a pickup truck closed down the southbound lanes for a short time and reduced northbound traffic to one lane.
That crash happened before 8:30 Saturday morning near mile marker 47, near Woodlawn. The semi caught on fire as a result of the crash. Wichita Fire crews report one driver was trapped for a short time but their injuries are unknown.
