A line of severe thunderstorms marched across south central Kansas early today triggering warnings for several counties; including Sedgwick, Kingman, Reno, and Butler.
Wind gusts in excess of 60 miles per hour were recorded at Pratt and Goddard, and in downtown Wichita. Heavy rain was also reported. There were reports of power poles snapped and some deck damage east of Cheney, but no injuries were reported.
