The Harvey County Sheriff’s Office received confirmation on the identity of human remains found in eastern Harvey County on Monday.
The remains were that of Sasha Kosminski, of Newton, born Aug. 24, 1984. Kosminski’s identity was confirmed through the examination of dental records. Kosminski’s remains were discovered in a hedge row by a man near East First Street and North Rock Road this past Monday.
Identifying information was not found on scene.
Kosminski had been reported missing by family in December 2020. The cause of death will remain under investigation.
