The Wichita City Council will meet briefly at 9:30 Tuesday morning for a consent agenda meeting at City Hall.

One of the highlights of the 21 items on the agenda includes approving a loan extension for the Starlite Drive-In, in south Wichita’s District III.
A $200 thousand loan in 2018 helped the drive-in to purchase two digital projectors and other related equipment, along with installation costs. The loan was supposed to be paid-off in 2023, but the operator requested the extension due to the COVID-19 pandemic and slow industry recovery.
The fourth Tuesday of the month is generally reserved for consent agenda items and a workshop. City officials say there will be no workshop this month.
In related news, there is no Sedgwick County Commission meeting on Wednesday.
