There are signs that life may be getting back to normal as the COVID pandemic eases. One positive development is the return of minor league baseball with the Wind Surge's first game at Wichita's new Riverfront Stadium tonight. Sedgwick County Commission Chair Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News he can feel the mood changing at recent public events he has attended.
At Wednesday's meeting, the Sedgwick County Commission will look for ways to ease over-crowding at the county jail. Meitzner says the commission will review training programs designed to keep criminal offenders from re-entering the system.
Meitzner commented during his weekly appearance on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
