The Kansas Highway Patrol has identified the person killed in a crash on the Kansas Turnpike Friday morning.

Regan Sampson, 6, was a passenger in a vehicle which rear-ended a semi that was having mechanical issues.
The SUV rolled multiple times. Sampson was ejected from the vehicle and died on the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, Tori Hornecker of Wichita, and an 8-year-old passenger had serious injuries. The semi driver was uninjured.
The crash blocked both southbound lanes of the Turnpike until the lunch hour.
