A judge has been asked by prosecutors in Johnson County to dismiss the bulk of the charges against Jackson Mahomes, 23.
Prosecutors filed a motion to dismiss three felony charges against the younger brother of the Chief's Quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.
If approved, the younger Mahomes will only be left with a misdemeanor battery charge.
Court documents indicate that the woman who said she was assaulted by Mahomes plans to plead the 5th, and if she were compiled to testify she would say she lied to police about the assault, and that their kiss was consensual.
Jackson Mahomes will be in court Wednesday afternoon.
