Spirit Aerosystems Holdings Inc. (SPR) on Wednesday reported a loss of $113.6 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Wichita, Kansas-based company said it had a loss of $1.09. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were $1.13 per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 77 cents per share.
The aircraft parts maker posted revenue of $980 million in the period, which also fell short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1 billion.
