A student at Maize South received medical attention after ingesting an edible that was brought to school. A similar incident was also reported at Stucky Middle School where three students were sent home after feeling ill from taking edible.
Just before 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, police were sent to Maize South for an overdose call. The student was transported to an area hospital.
Police and school officials are investigating both cases.
