
Charges have been filed against a man accused of killing a woman in a crash in west Wichita.
Dalton Huffman, 30, was charged with involuntary manslaughter, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving with a suspended or canceled license.
The crash took place on November 22nd, at Ridge Road and West Shade Lane.
Police say Anastasia Carter, 24, was northbound on Ridge, when a truck, allegedly driven by Huffman, turned left on Shade Lane colliding with her vehicle.
Carter was trapped in her car before being taken to a hospital in critical condition, where she later died.
Huffman’s next court appearance is Dec. 11th. Bond was set at $250,000.
