A submerged SUV was reported in a pond at the Netwon Medical Center. It happened Tuesday evening in the 600 block of Medical Center Drive.
No injuries were reported, and it's believed the vehicle was empty when it entered the water.
KSN News reports that the driver apparently was having mental health issues, and drove the vehicle into the pond.
The woman was taken to Newton Medical Center for an evaluation. Two small children were also taken into protective custody.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
