The Wichita Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that injured a Wichita teenager. According to Wichita Police, at approximately 1:55 Sunday Afternoon officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Seneca for a shooting call. Upon arrival, officers located the victim with several gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The victim underwent surgery and is in stable condition.
Investigators determined the the 16-year-old male victim was shot during the commission of a robbery.
