Wichita Police are investigating a pair of shootings that occurred overnight, injuring three people.
The first call came in around 11:40 Friday night, from the 700 block of west Maywood in south Wichita. Police say two teens got into an argument with a suspect and were shot. They drove to the Maywood location where a relative called 911. Police say the shooting may have stemmed from an argument at a party. There’s no word on the condition of the teens.
Just after 3:30 Saturday morning, a man in his 40s was shot. This incident took place in the 2300 block of N. Rosenthal, near 21st and Waco in north Wichita. That man was listed in critical condition at a local hospital. Police say an argument led up to the shooting. No arrests have been made.
