A heads up if you plan to travel in north Wichita over the weekend.
Several on-ramps are closed near the I-135/K-96 junction, including the on-ramp to northbound I-135 from 21st Street North. The westbound K-96 on-ramp to northbound I-135 is also closed, along with the on-ramp to northbound I-135 from 29th Street North.
All of these ramps should re-open around 6 a.m. Monday.
A reminder that northbound I-135 at 29th Street is reduced to the far, left lane of traffic thanks to last weekend's train derailment that took out a pair of bridge pillars.
