
Travel numbers were up over the Labor Day holiday weekend according to the Kansas Turnpike Authority and Eisenhower National Airport.
Turnpike officials report that 426-thousand vehicles were on the road. That's up slightly from numbers reported last year.
According to the Wichita Airport Authority there was a 5-percent increase at Eisenhower National Airport over the same time frame last year. 77-hundred travelers flew out of Wichita last Thursday through Sunday.
