The McPherson County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people who were driving a stolen vehicle Saturday afternoon.
Around 4:05 p.m., the McPherson Police Department was notified by the sheriff's office that a stolen vehicle was driving south on I-135. That vehicle entered McPherson at I-135 and Kansas Avenue. Officers tried to stop it but the driver continued on and left the city. A deputy deployed stop sticks, which punctured the tires of the vehicle and caused it to slow down. Around 15 minutes later, the suspect lost control and the vehicle got stuck on a gravel road southeast of McPherson.
No injuries were reported.
