Two people were critically injured in a shooting at an east Wichita nightclub Saturday night.
The call came in around 10:45 p.m., from the Onyx Nightclub on east Kellogg.
Wichita Police say two large groups of individuals began fighting with one another when an unknown man armed with a handgun fired shots into the crowd, striking two people. A 34-year-old and a 36-year-old are in the hospital with serious injuries.
Officers were already at the club, as there were 900 people there attending a scheduled music event.
