Two women are dead after a multi-vehicle crash in east Wichita Saturday night.

That crash occurred at 9:35 p.m. at the intersection of Central and Webb.

Wichita Police say an 80-year-old woman was driving her pickup truck east on Central when she collided with two southbound vehicles.

Two women in one of those vehicles are dead. A 42-year-old woman, a passenger, died at the scene. A 25-year-old woman died from her injuries later at local hospital. The driver of the third vehicle was uninjured.

The 80-year-old woman remains in the hospital and an officer has been assigned to stay with her.

Police believe speed and alcohol are factors in the crash.

Kris Gupilan, a Public Information Officer for the Wichita Police Department, says if you plan to drink, don't drive.

Charges will be reviewed once the woman is released from the hospital.
