Two people were killed in a crash in north Wichita. It happened around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening on northbound I-235 near Broadway.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the driver of a pickup truck crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a FedEx truck. The driver of the pickup, 56-year-old Darth Cline of Wichita, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the FedEx truck, 30-year-old Tyler Bauer of Wichita, was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
