
Two people were injured in a Wichita house fire. It happened around 4:00 p.m. Friday afternoon in the Oaklawn neighborhood near 47th street south and K-15.

Fire crews found flames and smoke coming from the front of the home as they arrived.
“(The house), could be a total loss,” said Battalion Chief Jeremy Whitney. “Crews make a quick interior attack, and aggressively got the fire knocked down as quick as they could,” he added.
Both people were transported to an area hospital and are being treated for smoke inhalation.
