Police are looking for a juvenile suspect in connection with a shooting Sunday evening in west Wichita. A 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were hospitalized. Both are expected to survive. Police say the shooting occurred at the intersection of McLean and Maple shortly before 7 pm, near the Wichita Boathouse along the Arkansas River. Police have identified a suspect. WPD believes the shooting stemmed from a disturbance between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend.
