Two woman received potentially serious injuries after being attacked in west Wichita.
It happened around 1:00 p.m. Monday afternoon in the 200 block of N. McComas, near 2nd and West Street.
Police and EMS responded the call of a cutting, and found two women, one in her 70's who had been injured.
Police are still trying to determine how the women were injured.
A suspect, a man in his 30's has been taken into custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
