A Union Pacific train derailed in Sumner County in the community of Riverdale, located north of Wellington.
The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. Saturday. No one was injured and there are no hazmat concerns at this time. The Sumner County Sheriff's office says two intersections are blocked at the 500 block of east 80th Ave. and 77th and Western Ave.
Union Pacific says it will take a couple days to clean up the derailment.
