An earthquake shook north-central Kansas on Wednesday morning.
The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude 4.3 earthquake was recorded around 7:45 a.m., with the epicenter just near Gypsum in Saline County. southeast of Salina.
The quake hit at a depth of 1.86 miles.
Residents as far away as McPherson, Wichita, and Arkansas City in south-central Kansas reported feeling the quake.
This was the biggest earthquake in Kansas in seven years, since a 4.3-quake near Harper in October of 2014.
