Two Wichita men are now convicted felons after pleading guilty in separate cases involving social media threats to murder federal officials.
60-year-old Adam Osborn and 24-year-old Joaquin Hernandez each pleaded guilty to one count of interstate communications with a threat to injure.
In January, Wichita police officers learned Osborn had posted threats on his social media page stating he wanted to murder U.S. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar from Minnesota.
Also in January, Hernandez posted a social media video threatening to shoot ICE agents point blank if he saw them in Wichita, according to court documents.
The Wichita Police Department and the FBI are investigating both cases.
