Fire crews from several departments have been battling a wheat field fire near Hesston in Harvey County. It began around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday near NW 60th and Emma Creek Road.
At least fifteen units from six different departments from around the area battled the blaze that began in a field of wheat stubble.
No injuries or damage to structures were initially reported. Additional information was not immediately available.
