Two people were seriously hurt in a single vehicle accident late Saturday afternoon.
It happened just after 5:00 p.m. in the 800 block of south Seneca, just south of Kellogg. Wichita Police say a car struck an electrical pole along the south bound lanes of Seneca. First responders were delayed in treating the two victims as Evergy crews had to cut power to the downed line. No homes lost power in the area.
The two were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police are still investigating the crash and are looking into speed as a possible factor.
